As per the directive from the Government of Tamil Nadu,
Crest Clinic will be operational during the ongoing pandemic.
Crest Clinic, classified as healthcare facility under “essential services”, will resume functioning from 2nd April 2020. We had to shutdown for a brief period to monitor the repercussions of the lockdown announced by Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. Crest Clinic stands in solidarity with all medical & para-medical staff battling the COVID-19.
COVID-19
Information pertaining to the global pandemic is available on the World Health Organization website. Local updates are featured in national & regional news channel. The WHO expects the ongoing pandemic to last several months to over a year. We assure you, that we will be there at the need of the hour, as many dental interventions cannot be postponed due to potential complications. Being in healthcare service, we have the professional responsibility in serving our patients and the community, especially during this global health emergency.
Crest Clinic will strictly comply with the guidelines issued by the World Health Organization. Starting 2nd April, 2020, the clinic will function in three sessions a day (with doctors taking individual shifts);
10.30am - 12.30pm : Dr. Neevitha Vijayakumar (General Dentistry)
01.30pm - 03.30pm : Dr. Krithika Datta (Decay & Root Canal Specialist)
04.30pm - 06.30pm : Dr. Ashwin D Rajan (Orthodontic Braces Specialist)
Two new regulations are enforced to ensure Crest Clinic is safe to visit for our patients. These are;
ONE PATIENT - ONE SESSION - ONE CLINIC - ONE DOCTOR
Only one patient / family will be attended to during a session at the clinic. This is line with the social distancing guideline issued by WHO, and as a result, only one operatory will be functional at the clinic at a time. Patients will be attended to only by appointment. Appointments can be pre-booked. We request you arrive on time for your appointment.
TOTAL CLINIC SANITIZATION
Complete sanitization of the clinic will take place after every treatment procedure. As many of you know, our sterilization & disinfection protocol is in strict compliance with CDC guidelines. In addition to the existing protocol, we have adopted few more, such as UVGI air disinfection system, to ensure Crest Clinic is as safe as your home. Our checklist for disinfection includes door handles too! For detailed information about our sterilization & disinfection protocol, log onto our website www.crest-clinic.com.
With cross infection under control with our strict sterilization protocol and appointment regulation, we dentists also adhere strictly to the WHO guidelines of social distancing by avoiding contact the general public.
